The Motorboard has a range of 5 to 7 miles and a top speed of 15 miles per hour. The Alternative Car and Energy Expo (AltCar Expo)  was a rare opportunity for the public to test drive the latest and most technologically advanced electric, natural gas, biodiesel, hydrogen, fuel cell and ethanol cars—some which were unveiled for the first time ever at the show. The two day cutting-edge event also featured several hard-hitting speaking panels that discussed solutions to the current energy and climate crises while working towards forming coalitions and drafting future legislation.
