Nordic Lattitudes
Guest observe the Nordic Lattitudes Exhibit at the Santa Monica Main Library on Saturday, Feb. 10 2007. The exhibition of classic modern design and lifestyle is an educational exhibit showcasing the best in Nordic furniture and lighting design. The exhibit began last week and runs through March 18, 2007. The exhibition is free and open to the public.

(1,2) The Santa Monica Library located on the corner of Santa Monica Blvd. and Sixth Street celebrates its first year since being remodeled on Saturday, January 6, 2007. (3) Ron Lo, staff assistant, shelves books that have been reserved by patrons at the Santa Monica Library on Saturday during their first year celebration (4) Anne Hanson reads 'Peter Pan' to her five year-old daughter Helen Kafka at the Santa Monica Library on Saturday. Kafka (who is in kindergarten) checked out her first book (peter pan) with her brand-new library card that she just obtained that day.
