Woman by Weinstein
(top) Artist Robert Weinstein, 77, dusts off his sculptures titled 'Woman' which is being displayed at the Santa Monica College's library on Thursday September 21, 2006. The sculpture is made from 230 million year old Kansas limestone with embedded fossils. (bottom) Weinstein places his sculpture made of Alabaster and copper into the art display cabinet during professors Don Hartman's sculpting class at SMC.

Ocean Park Segue
A boy climbs atop of the public art sculpture titled "Ocean Park Segue" by artist Joyce Kohl (1988) at Ocean Park Beach on Sunday, August 13, 2006. The sculpture was fabricated on site, Ocean Park Segue consists of two raised concrete performance platforms, each made of six horizontally stacked concrete slabs, pivoted to create stairs and overhangs. The surface of the slabs is imprinted with cast beach artifacts both human-made and natural. The platforms are used for sponsored and spontaneous performances, picnicking and playing. The installation measures forty inches in height with a total area of fifteen feet by fifteen feet for each slab.
