Santa Monica Police Activity League held its annual holiday workshop on Thursday December 15, 2005. Santa pulled up riding atop of a Santa Monica fire truck to hundreds of waiting children. All the kids got to see Santa and received a gift from him. Many craft stations were set up for the kids. The ginger house station was the most popular craft station. Raffle prizes were gave out throughout the entire event. The kids and parents had a great time.

Kids compete in the pie eating contest

The Police Activities League's PALloween was held at Barker Hanger on Monday night. A large number of kids attended the fun filled event. The Highlight was the costume and pie eating contest. PALloween is attended to provide a safe environment for kids on Halloween.

SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM: (top) Sam Barr, A Pal kid/volunteer and Santa Monica High school incoming Freshman, (just graduated from Lincoln Middle School) helps hand out lunch to local children at PAL on June 30. 2005. John Adams Middle School and PAL offer a free summer lunch program to children and teens 18 years and younger. Program runs June 27th thru September 2 from 12pm to 1pm.
