1) SAMO High Sophomore, Jivanto Van Hemert, 14, serves the Chief of Police, Timothy J. Jackman and Captain Wendell Shirley, Rosemary Chicken during the Santa Monica Police Activities League's 5th Annual ChezPAL at Back on Broadway on Thursday. The fundraising event was prepared and served by the youth from PAL under the supervision of well-known restaurateur Fred Deni. 2) PAL youths are put up for auction for various services such as baby sitting, pet sitting and car washing during the fundraising event.

Kids peddle around on  'Crazy Cruiser' during the Santa  Monica Police Activities League's 3rd Annual PALpalooza at Pacific Park on Tuesday, June 26, 2007. All proceeds  from the event will go to the Santa  Monica PAL for their development and maintenance of cultural, educational  and recreational programs.  PAL provides free programs to more that 1,600 youths in the Santa Monica area.
