During the last day of Drawing One Class, art Professor Marc Kompaneyets, 32, gives final instruction to his student Christine Batac, 20, as she works on a still live drawing at Santa Monica College on Monday June 5, 2006. This fundamental course is focused on representational drawing and composition using various black and white media. Emphasis is placed on development of perceptual skill, comprehension of formal theory, and performance competency in the media introduced.
