Making Tomorrow Possible
On Wednesday, during a impromptu play performed during the Santa Monica Family YMCA monthly board meeting, Jean McNeil Wyner, President of the Board AKA 'Nurse Ratchet,' extracks a wallet using a pair of tongs from Dave Nelson, past YMCA board president while Tara Pamposini, CEO of the Santa Monica Family YMCA assists in the operation. The Santa Monica Family YMCA launched its 2006 Annual Support/Endowment Campaign, "Making Tomorrow Possible" with a goal of raising $180,000 by March 28, 2006. The Beacon
On Monday, a man takes cover under his umbrella while standing on the public art work titled, "The Beacon" Designed by public artist Jody Pinto. The Beacon, a wood-plank platform and tall tubular sculpture is located at the California Incline and was dedicated on Veterans’ Day 1999.
