St. Patrick's Day
Singer/Songwriter/Actress Marian Griffin and friends perform at Finn McCool’s Irish Pub during St. Patrick's day on Tuesday, March 17, 2009. Marian Tomas Griffin was born in the US and raised on the west coast of Ireland in a town called Killala in County Mayo. Onstage as a member of New York's fabled Irish Repertory Theatre she starred in the long-running Off-Broadway hit "The Irish & How They Got That Way" by Frank McCourt. On screen Marian can be seen opposite Harrison Ford and Brad Pitt in "The Devil's Own". Most recently Marian played opposite Irish Comedian/Writer Brendan O'Carrol in his directorial debut "Sparrow's Trap". A major presence in the Irish Music scene, Marian's latest CD is "Downtown Monday Night" Daytime audiences will recognize her from her role as Mary Mennihan (Psycho Nanny) on CBS's "As The World Turns." Marian currently resides in Los Angeles.
